No other reason then, I miss him. He was a good director. (Nothing wrong with the one we have now, although looks like he always has makeup on.) I just want Chris back. He talked and interacted with the player base. Responded to peoples emails, everything.

I don't have a single unkind thing to say about Chris Wilson, but from an organizational standpoint going from a roughly 13-16 week challenge league cycle to a 48 week league cycle is what would be considered a catastrophic failure of internal resource allocation. Heads rolled. He has his own game studio now.

U're really making stuff up here I guess. We never had a 48 month league cycle, the longest league was 11 months and on top of that, Chris wasn't actively working at GGG at that time anymore aswell. From rumors he wasn't at the company for roughly a year before he officially dropped out.
The weird stuff started happening after he handed over the reigns.

Anyone got any information on his studio and any work that they are doing? IE type of game?

All we know so far is that it's called "Light pattern" and afaik it will be an ARPG. I don't think he's in a hurry tho, so don't expect a game announcement soon.
I think he will post updates on his Youtube channel, once there is something relevant.

The dude who wears makeup and looks like he's a Jim Henson creation from Dark Crystal, who does the videos has no clue what he's doing.
He should be in some 80's Euro-Pop band not designing PoE2 cause he's fucking it up big time.
