Leap slam doesn't break armour

I have noticed that leap slam, despite there being no indication that it shouldn't, doesn't break armour. Noticed it when I replaced crater with heft, coming to conclusion that it was the fissures from crater that broke the armour. I have armour break 3 aswell, and I am doing physical damage. POE2DB shows that the skill cannot break armour, but the last update for it there was 0.3. Is this intended and the "cannot break armour" effect is just missing from the in-game description, or is it supposed to break armour now and just doesn't?

To add, support gems are - Fist of War 3, Aftershock 2, Heft, Armour Break 3.
