Vaal Temple Feedback
|
Hi!
Any thoughts about going away from the PoE 1 way of playing endgame and go in another direction? Right now the endgame just feels like PoE 1.5, it is hardly any difference, you are forced to map to be able to do onther mechanics. Personally, what i would like to see is that mechanics like the Vaal Temple should be it's own endgame. If you want to map, you can map, and i dont mind if the big focus is on that. But i was just as dissapointed with this Temple release as i was with the Delve release in PoE 1. I was really looking forward to get to play a "build your own dungeon" kind of gameplay. What we got was "run 120 maps to fully play out a dungeon that you only get to be in sporadically". I do like the mechanic, but i would like to play it constantly. Something like: You can have 6 Medallions. Every room drops a Medallion. If you die in a room it closes and you wont get a Medallion. If you start a new run without 6 Medallions you get random basic ones up to 6. There are rooms that increase the monster level. So the bigger you make your Temple the harder you can make it. But you will also have more choices to make, as with a larger dungeon to go through you have to choose between more Medallions every run. And there can be things that drop in maps that you can use in the temple to change things to keep an active economy between the game modes. What i personally hope for in the endgame for PoE 2 is that we have more choices in how to play endgame than "mapping" Best Regards to the dev team. Last bumped17 дек. 2025 г., 14:13:47
