Atziri's Chamber Blocked

When I placed the Crimson Hall at the top between the Royal Access Chamber and Atziri's Chamber, the map showed openings to both rooms - otherwise I wouldn't have put it there. When I ran the temple, the Royal Access Chamber told me I didn't have a path to Atziri, and after closing the temple the map now only shows an opening to the access chamber. I assume at this point I'll just have to wait for that room to destabilize before I can get to Atziri.

I got the exact same problem. I can’t access Atziri's chambers. I did the Architect four times trying to clear the commander's hall, but every time the room stays, I don't know why.

Took me 5 runs to figure this out, but hopefully it will help anyone else who is stuck in this situation: a lot of tier 3 rooms destabilize after completion. If you can upgrade the blocking room to tier 3 and it's one of those, you can get rid of it that way. Obviously still hoping for an actual solution, but at least there's a potential workaround.
