Walking Calamity stops working

Occasionally when I die in a map with Walking Calamity going and I respawn the timer gets stuck at 0 and I cannot use it the remainder of the map. I have tried removing the gem and resocketing but nothing works. This is a big bug for me as it's almost half of my end game damage just useless
