Tornado doesnt absorb chaos converted ignited ground?

i hope a dev can reply and give some insight about whether or not this is a oversight or intended.

im playing druid, using tornado and have blackflame covenant activated with unique boots to drop ignited ground. i went halfway by the official dev build video for this but instead focused solely on fire. every fire on the screen, even the dropped ignited ground, is converted to chaos. however, the tornado when used on my chaos converted ignited ground is not turning purple.

im wondering if it IS converted but simply not showing it is or theres some sort of oversight not allowing it to be fully converted. because per description of all the skills and abilities it SHOULD in theory and technically work all together.

any advice is welcomed, however i would like to hear from a dev about this.
