Died to map boss - upon respawn everything on map is empty and lost ritual as well as corrupted boss

I was on the Cataclysm's Wake Complete a Tier 15+ Corrupted Nexuse quest. While doing the corrupted nexus, I died to the boss and respawned. It spawned me next to the boss area, but everything in the map was empty, and I lost the ritual, as well as no corrupted boss spawned after I killed the map boss upon respawn. Since 0.2.0, death from a map boss removes all remaining extra content and monsters. Apparently, this also applies to the corrupted nexus boss.
