MTX Type Mismatch – Lightning Bolt from Choir of the Storm (PoE2)

Hello,

I purchased a Lightning Bolt skill effect MTX specifically to use it with the Lightning Bolt granted by the unique amulet Choir of the Storm in Path of Exile 2.

Although the MTX is explicitly for Lightning Bolt and appears in the cosmetic selection menu, applying it results in a “Type mismatch” error.
It seems that the Lightning Bolt granted by Choir of the Storm is treated as a granted/item skill, not the Lightning Bolt skill granted bei Staff´s , and therefore does not accept the MTX.

There is currently no indication in the shop that this Lightning Bolt MTX is incompatible with the granted version of the skill, which led to the purchase.

Could you please advise whether this MTX will be made compatible with granted Lightning Bolt skills in PoE2, or alternatively assist with a refund or point credit?

Your best route is to put in a bug report so that they can either fix it or update the wording of the MTX, after that for refunds you need to put in a support ticket.
