Vaal temple time wasted

If you die during a run it let's you revive.Cool.People make mistakes,Spent hours mabey 40 as an estimated guess trying to connect 2nd key room to Aztiri just bad paths and rng room placement.Finally mabey I'll try the boss after I got somewhat of a temple going but i want to face Atziri out of interest despite knowing my temple will be deleted.Die on the way there(Somehow getting 3 big rares in one room i got overwhelmed)instantly deletes entire temple without even attempting Atziri.Im out.On dying multiple times in previous runs I just assumed it was going to let me attempt again.No warning or heads up stating otherwise,so I was disappointed.If it let me face Atziri and failed deleting temple fair enough.But now completely starting over from scratch doing maps all over again to get runs to complete feels terrible.Such a big punish when I don't even get to attempt the boss after connecting rooms.It seems so stupid to even put time into temple again knowing there's a risk of just losing all that time by 1 simple mistake.At least with boss attempts you can risk with managing revives on waystones.I don't get too much free time so that big of punish seems crazy to me.
