Ferocious Roar - can I use both bear warcry and some humanoid warcry both ni my build?
|
Jokes aside.
Ferocious roar - is a druid META warcry gem that provides two options: 1) Use it as it is to recive an armor-breaking exert for attacks 2) Socket another warcry skill into this gem's support slot to use socketed warcry instead of the original effect. I want to use both effects in my build. Can I actually do it somehow? Game do not let me use another copy of Ferocious Roar (becouse it is a meta gem?). So maybe there is a way to switch between the effects on the go, just as it is working with wearpon sets? (I will use another talisman just for this if required) TL:DR

To reason myself why use this warcry in two versions.
My build uses Avatar of Fire - I deal ONLY fire damage. I am a armor/energy shield druid. Before I started to use Avatar of Fire i had Scavanged Plating buff. Scavanged Plating buff is stuck of 4% more armor every time you fully break armor. 10 stacks = 40% more armor. 40% more armor = awesome. Now I am Avatar of Fire. Only after becoming the avatar I find out that ALL methods of breaking armor in the game is PHYSICAL DAMAGE based. ALL...exept one - The original BEAR EXERT. Ferocious Roar's original exert simply breaks armor with exerted attack. This is not enough to play around armor breaking offensive effects but more than enough for me to Scavange my Plates. So... now i only need to know how to do it? My Ferocious Roar is supported with Ancestral cry and half of the build is builded around it. I cnnot stop using it. I need another copy of some how to enable the original effect of Ferocious Roar's exerts. Can anyone help? Last bumped15 янв. 2026 г., 09:21:06

Only thing I can think of is being a warbringer and take the ascendancy node that gives you inherent armour break on all your attacks.
Maybe if you have a mace in your offhand and socket ancestral cry on it's own, but I haven't tested whether using ancestral cry while holding a mace allows you to carry over the buff over with weapon swap to talisman. My guess is no, but you can try it. |
