Question about corruption weapons/equipemt

when you corrupt an item like this for example is it possible for it to change one of the mods or does it just change the values? In other words is it worth it to try to corrupt for +1 socket or lvl 20 spellslinger or could i possible lose one of these mods and completely brick it?

Corruption can change up to 3 modifiers completely iirc. (like a chaos orb but 3 times) So yes, it can brick ur wand if u're unlucky.

U have to decide if the risk is worth it for u. There's alot of positive outcomes aswell.
