How to get to maps before boredom overtakes you?

Hey guys,

I need a tip or trick. I'd like to try out the mapping n stuff. Thing is, the gameplay loop of the forced campaign has only been fun once. I get bored out of my mind rewalking the same zones with crappy gear, low dmg, slow movement and everything just takes o frekkin long to finish.. It's a chore and I hate it.

I get bored of the entire game before I reach maps. So far I only ever reached them on the very 1st playthrough and before i did my 1st pinnacle, they reset the skills/interactions and my build stopped working at all.

How do you guys manage to stay motivated to re-do these chores on every playthrough? How do you not quit after act 1 or 2?

I mean... PoE1 was so much fun from the get go, that I genuinly enjoyed levelling all 10 chars every new league. 1500 hours into PoE1 I still want to play 3.28 early March. Now, PoE2 is... so much worse, I simply can't fathom how it came from the same guys. With only 150h split on 4 chars, every next league I have less and less motivation to play, I boot up, clear 1-2 locations, and exit, because I'm tired of this. I spen't 10% of the PoE1 time and already feel a lesser return on time invested (aka fun).

Teach me, how to stay motivated through the 30+ hours of campaign without rage quitting.

Right now, I find more enjoyment in horizontal delve or 16 alch n go Dunes (simplest and most repetitive loop I can think of) than redoing act 3 for a 4th time.

Am I handicapper or what's happenin.
