Headhunter isn't it

I finally got sick of taking headhunter on and off during abyss farming. I forked out 29 divs for a decent ingenuity belt. Honestly, if you have to physically go into your inventory, take off a belt and put it back on because shroudwalker is uncontrollably toxic, then it's bad game design.

I'm actually enjoying abyss runs now. 21 omen of abyssal echoes and 8 omen of light over the past 2 hours without that rubbish belt screwing me up.

It would be nice if I could just right click the icon to remove the buff like you can in games like WoW. Something needs to change. I'm not saying to remove the shroudwalker buff/debuff, just make it easier to turn the buffs off.

Anyway, my experience has improved. I will use headhunter only outside of abyss farming (maybe).

i honestly use HH on my wolfdruid, i like that teleport thing xD. make it easier to hit the mosters and confuse them.

but i understand what u want to say. seems u always have a plan. best of luck !!.
i have experienced the very same thing and made the same choice. Sadly, HH is the only DPS belt you can have outside of ingenuity, and second place is miles behind the first. But i'll take that over having to take it out and in everytime i have shroudwalker, which is multiple times a map. Now i'm using Shavronne's, which is pitiful, but hey...

Playing a ranged build with is feels way worse, it throws off your shots and makes you waste charges on your attacks, teleports you away from priority targets, into dangerous targets, away from loot, teleports you backwards, or into mobs you don't care about. 100% not worth the occasional haste. Probably only good in long temples.

u def dont want to use HH as a range build lol, that instant teleportation is terrible for ranged but really good for melee builds
Actually i found Shroud Walker is really usefull if you are playing Melee build. Or if you have some clearing ability like 360degree aoe. Other than that it is risky/reward item.


Uniques that given buffs via HH makes the character really solid and strong. I really don't believe anything could can kill an end-game character outside of bosses. So after your clearing is done , rid of walker buff if u have and kill boss.
I do enjoy HH for regular play. It speeds things up. But for abyss farming, it's definitely a bit of a pain. I can see how melee would love this. Might consider making a melee build next season just to try it out.
I'm of the opinion that having a single quite affordable unique as the default unique for half the builds is really bad. Half of the characters above level 90 wear HH. That's stupid.

It's good if HH has at least some drawback that reduces its universality. And ending up getting a bad modifier from a rare that harms you is one way of doing that that fits the character of the belt extremely well.

yes very fun on melee build, especially for breach/abyss and very useful in temples too when theres monsters hiding in a corner.
