Stuck in Atziri boss room

Short summary: Character is stuck in The Cradle Atziri room as the boss NPC froze and the end scene animation did not play

From what I can gather, the NPC animation for Atziri for the end scene of the fight did not trigger. This naturally means no reward for the fight was given.

Text in Game Chat appeared and Doryani's animation played out to show that the End Scene did trigger partially

The fight happened as normal, with no inconsistencies from previous attemps - duration and damage input have not changed on that character in quite some time.

Portal is unavailable as this is a boss room
Logging out to Character Select and logging back in did not help. Nor did re-opening the game

If you are willing to abandon your temple instance and loot (which may be a moot point if you have no medallion from Atziri, but I can't say), you should be able to force login of your character to your last Hideout or Town instead of returning to the Temple.


When your log out or exit to the character selection screen while in zone, a "House" icon will appear next to your character on the character selection screen.

Clicking on this should allow you to return to your hideout or town, after confirming that you agree to abandon your current instance.

On PC, you can also Control-Click on the PLAY button when selecting the character to accomplish the same thing.

Thank you, that's exactly what I had to do unfortunately and since the medallion did not drop at all, I had already lost that run's loot
