[Domination] Scion: Skald Theorycrafting
Hello peoples. First time on the forums, but I would like some feedback on this build that I'm thinking about doing:
Long link. http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgAACGe-vJM69MaC5L0nRQqQERg8NdaKr_noMZ5KyILHQYemVz8nKPq3PjrhTeMqTVwM6-7Grv4K8kX-jxUgS0nrLCWv1BW4k2bZPC0QzOdjNZIs6YPbwBmSzUWWpwgMfRHbtHMY10z_xPb-hyu2iPGsWd0NWz3K0_xLDQKsR31b2t0VUI9GEH80vq9sxBU9DyfteyCMRluvkAr8xc5xkvPigMaexYp99ayq-JNOKmegbBYZhiCc8B9Z8ymlh3ZRTASzogAqE8AaSn0UTQJxWivDE5BVLKenhKPyGjg= //TL;DR //BONUSES FROM PASSIVE TREE ALONE ---------------- Attributes: ---------------- - 210 str - 160 dex - 160 int ---------------- Defenses: ---------------- - +40% to elemental resistances - +12% to chaos resist - +174% evasion rating - +40% armor - +206% maximum life - +24% evasion and armor - +2% life regen - +207 max life - Convert all evasion rating to armor (would the +172% evasion rating apply before or after this?) ---------------- Totems: ---------------- - +10% resistances - +44% life - +50% duration - +15% range - +46% damage - +14% faster casting - Summon an additional totem ---------------- Weapons/spells: ---------------- - +75% melee physical damage - +12% physical damage - +340 accuracy rating - +115 mana - +140% mana regen rate - +24% max mana - +21% buff effect Would this build be able to hold it's own in cruel/merciless? What about maps? Is this serious of a hybrid not viable at all? Was hoping it would be able to hold it's own in at least merciless so that I could experience some of the endgame drops and parties. First time posting... if I did something taboo, let me know (or punch me in the mouth; I can take it) EDIT: Dropped some weapon damage nodes and put some more points into life nodes. This changed the amount of points used from 99 to 109. Последняя редакция: BrewNot#5848. Время: 4 нояб. 2013 г., 20:02:38

This does not look good. A couple things to think about:
1. Primary/secondary skill--what attack will you be using (vs single target/vs multiple target) 2. Life % is way too low. If you are going an armor based take-hits build, you need at least 180%+ max hp from passives |

" 1. I planned to be using totems as my primary attack (dual totem) with weapon damage nodes so that if any get past my totems I can use the standard attack to smack at them. I haven't really gotten to merciless or even tried a dual totem build, so I don't know how effective this is. I really do want this to be my primary form of attack; if standard attacks aren't at all effective endgame, that will clear up many more nodes. 2. Yeah, that slipped my mind. I'm messing around with the build some more to fit more life in. I'll go ahead and move the weapon nodes over to hp nodes. [Single target: spell totem + fireball + fire pen + chance to ignite] [Multiple target(s): spell totem + fireball + lmp/gmp + increased aoe] [Buff 1: tempest shield ('cause it looks awesome)] [Buff 2: purity/vitality, depending on the situation] |

Updated for:
- more life - less weapon damage |

imho drop the 10 dex and the life nodes on the duelist side, and go for the 10 int and life nodes up on the witch/templar side for added chaos res (even if you lose 2% life in the process)

" Oh wow, didn't see that. Points moved - that fixes my stat ocd (170/150 to 160/160) and gives me chaos resist in the process. Updated for: - 2% less max life - 10 less dex - 10 more int - 12% more chaos resist |
