Nerf Weapon Elemental Damage Gem
How does this Gem have such a high multiplier mod? I don't understand. 80% at max level is absolutely ridiculous.
Compare that to other multiplier mods in the game: Concentrated Area of Effect, Point Blank, Melee Physical Damage, Melee Damage on Full Life, Pain Attunement. All of them have severe restrictions on when the multiplier is added (must have full life, must have low life, must be in melee range) or pairs the benefit of more damage with a significant disadvantage (lower AoE, have to be in close range). Furthermore, they apply to very specific types of damage, either projectile attacks, Melee Physical Damage, AoE attacks or Spells. By contrast, Weapon Elemental Damage restrictions are extremely lax. If that were not enough the multiplier from this gem is almost double that of the other multiplier sources. IGNs-

It is also a gem that, quite literally, makes builds viable.
It's comparable to FaceBreakers, for instance. Ele weap users, are at a significant disadvantage in other areas, compared to physical, to begin with. I don't see any reason to nerf the one advantage they have going for them, for a resource that in the end, you need to reduce anyways. |

WED having a high multiplier is necessary to counter elemental damage's drawbacks (such as more prevalent resistance on monsters and lack of life/mana leech)... otherwise there wouldn't be an incentive for weapon users to choose elemental damage over physical (or even in addition to).
