HUGE Lockbox bounty

Rare box in the Slum Sewers on Normal with Resurrect monsters, Freeze on open, among other things.

First time seeing the new mobs in there, they hit a lot harder than expected. BUT. It was all worth it in the end.

Yep, another idea in this game that seems excellent on the paper, yet end up being shit in reality.

I got today multistrike with 14quality on it amongst few other support gems from Gemcutter's Strongbox.There are just boxes and affixes that drop nice things,and others don't.

RNG is RNG.

Surely you can't be suggesting that 1 Wisdom Scroll from a rare box is intended? That isn't RNG. It should've dropped multiple wisdom and portal scrolls, just like all of the other ones have.

If you expect every box to drop something useful, you're gonna have a bad time.

As usual, the strongboxes have more complexity to them than you'd think. They aren't just pinatas that drop epic loot. You actually have to roll them properly. Some boxes such as the artisan one you will want to roll increase amount of items. Others like the one that drops gems you're going to want increased quality.

There is a lot more to them than just 'free epic lootz'

Increased Rarity is one that people like to be disappointed with. But Increased rarity is just 'the icing on the cake mod' Do not expect it to do anything special on its own. Prioritize it LAST and if you happen to get it on the end of a box that is rolled well in every other way, then GRATZ

Conversly a mod that is universally good is, the one that spawns an rogue exile. That just basically doubles your drop right there.

Stop derailing what is supposed to be a lighthearted thread with the typical "RNG is RNG" bullshit.

A scroll lockbox isn't supposed to drop only 1 item from it, period. It's a bug.

Neither one of your pictures are even in the same vein or same realm as what my post was about. Post constructively or don't post at all.

Edit: Holy shit, people. I'm not complaining about the lockbox dropping a wisdom scroll. This isn't a complaint post. This is a "It only dropped one of the items it was supposed to drop" post.

I don't give two Diablos if it dropped 100 white items or 5 wisdom scrolls. I'm not looking to GET RICH from a normal mode lock box. Get real.

It usually does, but rarely it doesn't. RNG. Or it could be a bug, but how do you know?

Do I know for certain? Nope. That's why I made the post. "RNG is RNG" is as much the answer to RPG loot problems as "God works in mysterious ways" is to human problems. Often times invoking such a response causes more of a problem than a solution, and quite frankly is an insult.
