What determines the 'pierce' chance for the unique quiver Drillneck?

" You can get 10% from quiver and 35% from passive tree, 74% from the pierce gem and 74% from the projectile weakness curse, 193% total (119% w/o projectile weakness.) I don't have the quiver nor the gems to test it, but I'm curious whether or not everything affects the increased projectile damage (specifically, I highly doubt that projectile weakness affects it.) I don't know the answer yet, but I'd also be interested to know whether it is capped at 100% increased damage - I would assume so, but absolute information is absolute power.

I'm pretty sure that the pierce granted by the curse does not count in the extra damage. The pierce that counts should be the one displayed in the "offense" tab of your character sheet. And it can go over 100% iirc

" Thats what I figured, but its not unheard of for GGG to introduce new mechanics for uniques. Hoping that the Pierce chance from Proj Weakness applies because the Pierce support gem is pretty garbage, not even sure I would use it for 74% increased damage :| Also, unsure if its Ambush only, but I can confirm that I've seen them in Ambush. I think marc said that only the global character-pierce chance for arrows is considered.
With the Passiv and the Quiver that is 45%. Although I understand that the curse does nothing it is a bit strange, that the support does not change the damage either. Infractem however might add 100% pierce-chance or set it to 100% which might either be a 145% increased projectile damage or 100%. Also the damage-increase triggers for all projectiles, not just arrows. |

" Infractum is not pierce change, its just pierce which isnt the same thing. A mod mentioned in the list of uniques thread that it is based off pierce chance which is its own modifier. The curse is not affecting your pierce chance but the chance to pierce the monster, I believe it calculates the damage after leaving your bow whether or not your enemy is cursed. |
