Using Fusing Orbs.....
i have a few of those (9). i used a couple testing things out. cause the best way to figure things out sometimes is to test them yourself. however i didn't quite get how these work.
when using a fusing orb, do i hover over a socket that i d like to fuse to another socket? or does the orb follow some sort of fusing "path" so no matter where i click on the item the same link will get fused or unfused for that matter? it is very unclear to me. let me try to illustrate: N--E ! S E so in that graphic above, i have a link from N to E and from N to S and i want to link S to E. can that be done? Shitysushi - Arrow shooting build.

It will randomize the links between all the sockets of an item, not individual sockets at a time.
You right click on the orb and left click on the item itself. same name in-game

I had a similar query. Does this mean its totally random?
I ruined a good rare bow I had by trying to link three green gem sockets together. It already had three green sockets and two were linked. I wanted to add the third socket to the link, but instead it destroyed the existing link and left me with three individual sockets! Wasn`t happy! Lol! Is the only way I can return the bow to its original state to get another orb and try fusing again and keeping fingers crossed? |

Yes, it's completely random. There is no way to return the bow to its original state other than hoping to get lucky with another Fusing Orb.

OK, thanks. I always lose when I gamble :) , so I`ll be more cautious next time I take a chance to upgrade my items!
