PoE Builder

Hello guys,
I want to know.. Does PoE builder efficent (the one at this address: poebuilder.com).. I mean.. Who developes it? Are formulas correct? If a char that i make on that builder does 10k dps, is it realistic that then, when i do the char with that equipment it does really 10k? Or did someone find some bug in it (if someone use it before creating chars)..

One thing that doesn't yet work properly is added damage support gems on skills with lower than 100% efficiency. For example flame totem has 20% efficiency but when added chaos/lightning/cold damage is linked, it's not reduced to 20% in the DPS but it shows the full 100% added damage.

I've found that poebuilder is typically accurate with defensive stats but not 100% reliable with DPS stats. However, it is mostly reliable and the numbers it spits out can be taken at face value.

With respect to support gems like melee splash and multistrike, I've never had a problem with it.
