1h weapon vs 2h weapon?

is 3 socket weapon stronger than 6 socket weapon? i mean 1h weapon is weaker than 2h weapon.
i think 3 socket weapon must be stronger or some bonus or better passive skills than 6 socket weapon.
and even if i have 2 of them, they are 3 link not 6 link. anyway 1 handed weapon vs 2 handed weapon..

weapons with max ofonly 3 sockets are 1h weapons, weapons with max of 6 sockets are 2h weapons.. assuming they are of high enough item level
