I understand the concern for the deaf, but I have to say there are plenty of things that happen with audible cues in this game that a deaf individual would have to adjust for, not fair to blame Charan when was trying to help the majority of us with a warning.

For others that chose to disable sound, that was a choice, there are consequences to every choice. Which benefits them more, the performance enhancement or the warning screams of an adorable murderer? That is for them to decide.

Went to see what the hype was about and holy crap they're so cute! Ran around trying to trigger more killer koalas then a rare one dropped this for me.
What's not to love about them? :P
It's a bit weird how they can drop in the middle of a road where there are no trees though.

I think a more logical reason is that the trees have branches that are higher up out of our FoV that have grown enough to extend over the roads or close enough to them for the ursas to drop on roads.

An even better explanation is that they are hunting bird's, jumping and attaching to them and then letting go when they see a better meal (= YOU)

Maybe the other Ruler (there was another right?) Can make these birds, and the dropbears can fly in on them, you can get dive-bombed by the bear, and the bird.
