Hey,

has anyone found a solution to this problem?

I'm having similar issues since activating gsync on windowed and fullscreen.

When PoE is running and window is activated Im running around 20ish fps... 22-23.

Once it moves to the background though it gets to run at about 100ish fps.

I'm running on a Laptop with the following specs:
• 39,6 cm (15.6") Full-HD (1920*1080) Non-Glare IPS (G-SYNC capable)
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M 6144MB GDDR5
• Intel Core i7-6700HQ | 4 Cores | 8 Threads | 2,60 - 3,50GHz | 6MB 45W
• 8GB (1x8192) SO-DIMM DDR4 RAM 2133MHz HyperX Impact
• 256GB m.2 SSD Samsung 950 Pro NVMe (MZ-V5P256BW) - via PCI-Express x4

The Monitor I'm using:
• Acer XB270HU (1440p, 144hz, Non-Glare IPS, G-SYNC)

connected via a Mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable.

Can deliver Screenshots if needed.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Try to set G-Sync on fullscreen mode (instead of windowed mode) under nVidia control pannel and try to game in windowed mode

I don't really know then. I fixed my old issue by downloading latest driver and setting g-sync on fullscreen mede even if i run PoE in windowed mode. Fps goes up to 200..
Have a similar issue on my laptop.

Trying out many things I came across a rather weird workaround.

- Start game (will run at about 21-22FPS in Windowed/Windowed Fullscreen)
- open Nvidia Control Panel
- Select Change resolution
- select any resolution (preferred a division of your native resolution) and hit apply
- when asked if you would like to keep the changes, select NO

Game runs at 60 FPS.
Unfortunately you have to do this at least every restart.
I think g-sync is much worth while you use nvidia's graphics card. G-Sync processor is Nvidia’s solution to implement adaptive refresh rate. But, it needs an dedicated hardware module. Nvidia comes with built in module which handle the refresh rate. Also it doesn't shoe stutter issues. If you want some more information about g-sync click here.
