That's a good point. I think players, and GGG liked the Breach upgrade mechanic. They may well reuse it with the pantheon gods.

They should maybe change the wording on the last modifier.

If i cast blasphemy tc, then equip the armor, wouldn't that turn off my tc? Because it disables spells. IF they said "Casting spells is disabled" then I could see it working with precast heralds and auras.

In current wording, I only get it will prevent casting new spells and disable already cast ones.

I suppose you could use the mind over matter keystone to negate damage with mana, since you will be using very little mana resources with no spells. You could go for a heavy regen phys or phys conversion melee or ranged build. Perma fortify might be a nice defense option from duelist acend in a non aura build. You could regen over 1k life per sec with the right gear.

Odd item. Looks like too little defense and too little damage with some pretty build breaking drawbacks.

I doubt that they'd release a weak item when they're focusing on reducing the number of trash uniques, so my guess is that it's an upgradeable item. Upgrading should buff the damage and life/res significantly to make the downside worth it.

Hella useless. But maybe some will wear it as a substitute for the underwhelming Bear MTX. lol.

This would be nice for Bleeding build (while double-dipping still exists). Take Blood Magic, stack regen, level with The Blood Reaper or a Tora bow, or take enough bleed chance from tree (Gladiator ascendancy) and Voidheart to get, say 50% or more. You could aim for Disfavour late game, or maybe Starforge, which gains zero benefit from Hatred or HoAsh etc...

You'd sorely miss Vulnerability though...

Witchfire brew ;) The flask is spammable, recharges very fast.

I think this item is missing a 20% damage reduction against incoming damage. Right now its either MTX or garbage tier next to mjolner
