Simple is the life of the bear.
Not really endgame, not by a long shot...maybe some shenanigans could make it useful with curse on hit gloves and a butt ton of end charges or something.
That being said it's a cool unique, good for leveling...can't hate on uniques that are actually unique, even if they're not BiS for 99.9% of builds. |

So Curse on Hit corruption do work, as stated on reddit?
But does the curse on hit gem work? I assume it doesn't? |

I've got a question. Does the 'Your Spells are Disabled' refer to spell as a gem tag or does it refer to Spell (POE Wiki: 'Spell is an offensive ability that deals damage to targets based on damage defined by a skill gem. Skills that deal spell damage have a Spell gem tag').
Because if an item got 'adds xy damage to spells' it doesn't adds the damage to something like an aura or a curse (both got the spell gem tag and a curse could be cast directly on a mob). | |
Can anyone clarify for me the difference between casts and spells and their relation to this item the wiki states clearly that casts are not spells but this item still disables them?

" Once upon a time, everything that wasn't an attack was implicitly a spell. Since some spells don't deal spell damage so you can't boost them with spell damage bonuses, players complained that it was misleading and devs slapped the 'cast' tag on such spells. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

This armor is misleading:
"Spell Skills deal no Damage" only applies to your Spell Skills. So you still take damage from Monster and Player Spell Skills |

You really expected it to make you entirely immune to all Spells? Lol.
It's only misleading if you have unreasonable expectations. |

" I hoped it would considering the downside of spells being completely disabled is nowhere near a good trade off for Maximum Life, Life Regeneration, & "Increased" Physical Damage. If it was along the lines of "More" Physical Damage it might actually be worth the downside of losing out on auras and general game breaking spells. |
