What will your legue starter be?

I was planning on doing my standard SRS league starter.... .but after seeing the Heirophant changes, I'm really thinking of trying some spell totem build. Probably Glacial Cascade. But nothing is firm yet until I see all the changes and any other balance adjustments in the patch notes.

Volley makes so many ranged spells so much more entertaining. Ice Spear totems (getting to crit nodes sucks) Freeze Pulse, Glacial Cascade, Bladefall/Firestorm... Just so many to choose from. Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive. Patch Notes 3.19: Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment. |

Wonder how a Glacial Cascade Assassin with Volkuur's Guidance (Cold) would work out. You can scale with both physical and elemental in the area, benefit completely from the physical added as something else and hit up to three time with the cascade for three poison stacks per cast. <of course for a League starter Volkuur's won't be available, so got to pick something else until those are around.

Assuming that the Oni-Goroshi soft threshold for spawning gets increased (which I believe to be rather likely), I'll probably put that idea on the list for later. I really don't want to miss the very start of the league.
I'll probably go assassin, doing some poison shenanigans (already got a messed up idea in my mind) or chieftain or berserker with tectonic strike. I have to wait for the skill reveal and other ascendency changes though. At this point it's still too hard to say what direction I end up going in. I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

heavily depends on the rotation of zana map mods and a particular item that either will or won't be available correspondingly.

Probably a more controlled damage output like melee. I'll wait for the patch note first for specified build. But meanwhile, I'll avoid minion base & too heavy AoE build for league starter in anticipation of the capture mechanic in PoEkemon league.

i'll choose after i see the Necro (nerf?), if they nerf necro instead of spectres, then it's Hiero and brotems.... i actually miss the good old flame totem :D
