Heavily depends on the coming Ascendancies. For now: MS-Chieftain (was my last league starter and was a blast, will be even better this league with the juicy Chieftain buffs *free Xophs anyone?*).
Maybe going for classic Dark Pact Necro with Skellies, Zombs and Stone Golem. Played one his league and was a blast as well. Champion and Hiro Looks promising though, most likely will end up leveling 5-8 chars again lol^^ What ya doin to me GGG?!?! ;_; |

I play Standard, so technically it's not a league starter, but I'm planning on rolling up a Firestorm/Icestorm EE miner for the memes. Depends on what they do with Sabo/Scion/Elementalist/Inquisitor.

If they make OG farming harder, I'll skip it.
It was hard enough to make it to level 7 with 4 chars for me... for some people it might be easy but damn, not for me. Anyway, from what I'm seeing, poison assassin or whatever Scion, may it gets buffed |

Most likely some version of Essence Drain / Contagion / Blight.
Whether it is Trickster, or Occultist, or some clever Scion/Ascendancy mix, no way to tell yet. Still waiting on those pertinent ascendancy releases. I am tinkering around with some ideas for Champion with the new ascendancy, but nothing to report on that yet. |

I want to try spectral shield throw. Not sure about class or ascendancy yet, but the passives I have pathed out will let me start from either the Duelist, Marauder, Ranger, Scion, or Templar nodes.

i don't know why heiro warchief gets such hype.
Totems won't leech or taunt like they do on a cheiftain. Sure you'll have a bunch of powerful totems but no leech/taunt to keep you safe while you're running around. Also much less life regen. Might be a good choice for SC but i have a feeling it won't be that nice in HC. no leech/no taunt/poor regen makes for a stressful experience when things get hectic. Not to mention uber lab traps without decent regen... |
