One of my main complaints about the league is carrying around nets. Call it a "slippery slope" but I just can't support adding stuff that we need with us to interact with the game.

Plus they serve no real purpose. They don't limit your interaction because they're so cheap. They don't make the encounter more fun. I really can't see why they're even in the game, but given that they seem to want them there they should give us space to carry them.

That extra pocket would be great. I would carry currency I use to craft boxes in the fly and scrolls in there at least. Oh, and fucking nets as well.

Yeah, I never expected that Nets will be currency items. There is another issue with nets - it's confusing how different nets intaract with different tiers of monsters. Some end-game nets can oneshot monsters during levelling, but some don't, because they are effective only against monsters of certain levels. There is that "Nets mess with currency drops" thingy. Not sure how I feel about that one.

But it's not a matter of opinion. Bestiary is still not fine, it is still plagued by too many issues.

You are freaking out like I am trying to force to like or dislike League. Gosh. You are free to do so, but League mechanic implementation is not fine as it is now.

Quite a lot of which, IMO, were going into the wrong direction.
I still liked the game enough to keep playing.
IMO, bestiary is fine but for the mechanic sometimes (sometimes a net that I wanted to throw just does not get fired - or so it seems, might be bad finger coordination) and the fact that I still think that the whole sacrificing is a bit off.
I like that we're not drowned in encounters that just pile mobs on top of more mobs, I like that loot is sparse and I like that the best way to deal with the mechanic is not to rev up dps and aps and kill stuff as fast as possible. This is actually why I decided to give the league a chance after all and in spite of my (misplaced?) moral objections.

If you think beastiary is fine its because you don't interact with enough of the mechanics so really you aren't talking about beastiary but rather PoE in general.

Which is why people throw around objectively so much because there are lots of well thought out arguments for why its bad but the only ones for good are generally it doesn't bother me. That isn't a counter argument :/ (even if the whole thing isn't actually objective)

The mechanics themselves are a real struggle to support I saw the meme post about how beastiary came before essence and essence league really improved on everything in beast league and thats how it feels right now lol.

Hoping for some really sweeping changes this week where they make the crafting recipes viable and make the obligatory every league buff to the beasts required to access the spirit beasts, in Breach by this stage i'd have had around ~10 breachstones i'd even found 1 lich in abyss by now I don't see why they gate the league content every fucking time then buff it every fucking time, could they get it right once >< (guess it was right in breach problems with chayula aside)

Ah, but as we have clearly seen in the last US presidential election that if you keep repeating something over and over and over again that eventually, even if the statement isn't credible or worse is false, that the "poorly educated" (Trumps own words not mine) people hearing the same message get kind of lulled (of maybe smacked upside the head) into believing that it must be true. Works in politics (so how "great" is America after a year under his regime) so maybe it can work here for PoE changes.

So most agree that GGG stubbed their toe on the mechanics of capturing beasts to sacrifice for a different way to craft (not just pure rng orb spamming gambling) and stubbed another toe by not adding the nets as additional drops but instead net drops replace normal currency drops so the currency drop rate is an automatic nerf. The attempt by GGG to come up with other ways to craft gear with less rng and spamming of orbs was/is commendable and good but mechanics is bad (and worse when it flat out failed to work on launch day due to bugs). But if the minority of players keep up the forum posts about how good beast capture/sacrificing is then maybe because of message saturation that more of the "poorly educated" PoE players will come around to their way of thinking. And some people gravitate towards controversy anyway so they just love to argue their viewpoint whether they have credible info to back it up of not (tinfoil hat players). But freedom to express a viewpoint should always be allowed whether you agree with the message or not.

Jonestly? I find the dozens of complaints about bestiary even worse. We know that it's a rushed mess, but currently it's working well enough that you can enjoy it. At this point constantly reminding everyone of all the flaws it still has while people are already able to enjoy it does little more than annoying everyone.
Again, I know the league has problems. In fact, most of us know. But WE can't change a damn thing about it. That's up to GGG.
