T14 and t15 memory fragment

Its not "the blue circle appears whenever you get a fragment from doing a map" , it's more "you can get a fragment wherever a blue circle appear on your atlas". Then you just need to complete the map to get the first fragments and then guardian, elder etc...

The question for me is to know if the blue circle is more likely to appear on an uncompleted map. This is what I'm asking nothing else.

I could accept the whole generation and try and repeat process if i didn't had to struggle with trading actualy.

I don't have issues to sustain a map tier, in revenge i do have an issue to sustain one of each maps in this tier, generating the zone take a lot of effort trading for the right maps and this is what piss me off the most regarding the layer of RnG involved in t14 / t15 memory fragment hunt.

If i had to resume in short process is actualy:

25% time invested on getting maps trought indexers and issues / frustration that come with ( afk, data not updated enough fast, price fixing etc ... )
60% time invested on running like a deadcow from point A to B to generate the zone, because you end to be tired of running fully the map at this point.
15% fun time / Playtime killing 4 paper guardians and elder.

Repeat -


It's just not really interesting i'm not sure i can find more appropriate words.





Told it earlier, we reached something new here. Doesn't make sense to me, but maybe others enjoy doing that i don't know can't speak for everyones, i would be astonished if it was the case tho.

What i suggest if GGG end to the conclusion this process / design is an hassle for too many players and decide to do some changes, would be adding some more user friendly ways / strategy ( or interesting one ) to get these memory fragment, maybe something more engaging but less repetitive.
Doesn't have to be easier, but at least more entertaining, because for now i'm not sure i ever faced something THAT boring in PoE, almost here since 5 years now.
Not jumping in the "blame Q&A" train things arn't that simple, the idea is good it's just that if you are looking to get it, you are loosing some more valuable playtime, wich is clearly not healthy for the user experience at the end. That's my guess at least. Hope for the best in next league -

Ok I will stop, because both my English and typing skills are terribad a so I won't bother anymore.

I just checked my quest status in standart : 8/15 - a bit lazy to test myself there :/

Wow the trick really worked. After 2 weeks of not being able to land an elder on t15 map, I did the trick on the first try and got it to land on Basilica. All I did was get elder to influence a t15 map (Basilica), then I remove it from completion, then I get elder influence to spread elsewhere till Elder pop with its guardians. This blue circle never pop up with the last 11-14 fragments, but it did on the last one. I don't know if this was lucky or not but someone else try this method and tell me its not just a fluke.

Thanks for your feedback. Need more test before saying that is 100% success tho.

Just one question: did the blue circle appeared before elder spawned ?

The blue circle spawned at the same time elder did.

Ok. So my theory is wrong on this point at least.
But the end result is there..

I finally got it on my 10th attempt, without the use of your silly superstitious voodoo.
Really glad I don't have to do this anymore.
