Sufite changes (MASSIVE nerf): IE why I will never buy another supporter pack again

GG, map for 2 hours to delve for 10 min. might as well play std. When will GGG learn, most people don`t like to be forced to grind maps to access the new stuff.

Exactly this. Even 3.4.3 was a nerf to unmodded t16 maps, which is the opposite of what Chris made it sound like would happen (it sounded like a big buff to modded t16 maps), but then the "fix" just buffed fucking t8 map chainers and nerfed t16 map runners way harder.

It's ridiculous.

It has not even buffed T8. T8 is still worse than pre-3.4.3 sp it is still a nerf for it too.

The patch had to come, because running 50 times quarry does not have to be a better way to gain sulphur than running maps tier 1-15. Til now it was, because quarry takes about 10 seconds to get sulphur and start new instance, even the loading time is included.

I am curious how the patch will change it and can´t wait to end my working to go play PoE.
What are the cost for your delve Level130, when it normal lentgh and when it is a long one? Some numbers would help.


For numbers sake to help you out this is what I am experiencing. Last night at about 124-126 it was costing me 102 sulfite ish to do a short segment. I was pulling in around 200 and change from a sulfite node in t6-8 depending on item quantity. Now I am pulling 350-450 out of a t9 map BUT those same short segments are costing me 211. I just did a run that was probably on the border of medium to long and it was 780. So for me 1 t9 map with 1 node...with good quantity will net me 2 short runs in delve at 126 depth. I do not have a plethora of red maps so i have to shape my lower ones to get good sulfite returns, but that gets costly.
This change was by far the worst move they had done up to this point. Made playing the game fun again when they added something entirely new (delves).

You could run some maps, in my case around t7-t9's and after about 10-15 maps you could delve for a good while. Now with this stupid change you move 2-3 nodes in the delves are you are finished.

I just don't understand why they want us to do the same dam thing we have been doing the past what, 5 years? (of just mapping mindlessly over and over). We understand you are trying to slow down the 1% that nolife it, but jesus leave the regular joes out of this that are under 270 depth level.

biggest issue for me, is thats it's pointless to make us do high level maps if we CAN"T GET HIGH LEVEL MAPS. The drop rates are abysmal, and feel like I'm stuck unable to get higher thank tier 9 because I must run the same map like 5-10 times to try to get a higher tier map.

I didn't relate to people's desire to have an alternative to mapping, but with incursion gone maps feel far less rewarding with the loss of the loot pinata. Once I got a groove delving I actually started to enjoy it a bit.

Now my sulphite costs are at least double what they used to be - I had a hard enough time feeling motivated before the nerf beating.
