I disagree with that. The subreddit is a place to share information and discuss the game, not a GGG signal board. If you feel strongly that more action needs to be taken to make sure GGG are aware of the issue, why not use the bug reports forum here? That is the entire purpose of that forum, and GGG read every post in it.

I've been using it, by the way, including both bumping the primary topic about it and advertising this bug as the probable cause of several recent mysterious overnight item losses that were also reported in the bug reports forum. It's not even in the "known issues" section yet, and it certainly hasn't gotten a response even by a low-level member of support.

But you're just making it clear that you have *absolutely no idea* how little GGG actually pays attention to this shit. Which is why reddit is the only place to signal them.

We may not be able to reply, but we do check every post when we have the chance.

Again, I'm not defending GGG's lack of statement about this issue. That makes no sense to me and I agree that it's critical they say something about it ASAP. But I don't think it's feasible that they're unaware of the issue. Front page reddit thread, big bug report thread, these threads here. Ticks off all three main places they source information from the community.
Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it!

There are two posts regarding the matter on the front page of the sub for transparency.

Everything else is duplicates so is being removed, no censorship there. If you encounter this issue take it to support.

That being said, WHEW what a bug.

Alright, so there's only two examples of it happening on the boards. So a casual observer could write it off as a small time issue only effecting a handful of people.

Beyond that, these reports should be taken seriously and GGG should be able to browse through the various reports of it and see if there's anything unique or identifiable as a cause. Now they can't do that because some power mod on Reddit decided that they would delete a bunch of stuff?

It's censorship mate, and I'm sick of people defending it. Besides, whatever happened to Reddit being a user curated website. The community of that subreddit, if they felt like they were being spammed, could easily downvote the "duplicates". ( they're not duplicates by the way, they're unique posts made by people experiencing a glitch. )

The thing is, the community obviously agrees with the topics being up there or they wouldn't be up there due to the downvoting system of Reddit.

The reason I don't use that website anymore is because of situations just like this. Heavy handed moderators that feel they can do anything with their subreddit. It's no longer about a community curated experience.

Several threads informing about the same bug are indeed duplicated posts, even if each user posts his own experience (being "his own" doesn't mean it's different from the others). There's no censoring, there's a community that doesn't make good use of the platform. You don't need a post for every specific case, they already know and you still can comment your case in the main post, if you want to.

The problem is that everybody posts without taking a look at possible previous posts with identical thematic. Some are so self-worshipping kids that usually believe their case is especial and deserves special attention. Some others are just lazy. But it happens everywhere, not just in reddit.

If someone's post was ninja-deleted, the user can:
A. Make a good use of the platform and comment your case in the main post.
B. Start spreading conspiranoid theories here and there...

I agree that is a colossal bug and GGG has to say something about this. They're already like two days late. But talking about censorship and conspiracy to deny/hide problems is pushing things way too far.
