What's your cast on crit build idea?

Some version of old school shatterchuck. Maybe Scion-Assassin Slayer.
Other one was trying to use of the Threshold jewels. Assassin - Cyclone CoC Arc Spark (nova with jewels). Tested both on standard yesterday and if they are going to be 233% stronger than they already are they both will be pretty decent. |

" Note that Cast on Crit triggers ONE spell per activation, unless I'm sorely mistaken, so it's usually never worthwhile to link more than one spell to whatever you're Critting to Cast On with. That said, Tempest could be an interesting choice. Naturally high attack speed and a very useful universal Lightning damage buff. Low base crit chance stinks, but it's not entirely unrecoverable. The issue would be that the Tempest wants flat lightning damage to scale, and there's no good source that I can think of for flat lightning damage to both spells and attacks. That's traditionally been the issue with Cast on Crit builds and why the only ones anyone ever thinks are worthwhile are the ones that trigger forty thousand spells a second in a direct attack on the game servers - Tempest Barrage, by itself with stacked flat lightning damage, is probably better than Tempest Barrage + Arc, and Arc by itself is potentially better than Tempest Barrage + Arc. The trick with Cast on Crit, much like with Cast While Channeling, is finding skills that complement each other such that using them together enhances both skills. Scorching Ray + Firestorm is the classic example - Scorch debuffs fire resistance, bypasses Proximity Shield and makes Firestorm hit harder while Firestorm improves clear and allows the Scorch character to leech. The two skills work very well together - casting Scorching Ray and Firestorm at the same time is intrinsically valuable that way. Stuff like Cyclone + Arc works because Arc massively extends Cyclone's reach and significantly improves its clear, while the Cyclone itself renders the character immune to stuns and (technically, theoretically) improves its defense. Cospri's Malice, Poet's Pen, or Mjolnir builds don't care as much about skill synergy because they're all about just spamming a billion spells at once, but those are different cases. (BRIEF ASIDE: that being said, Poet's Pen CoC with Power Siphon will be stupid and likely end up as the final straw which leads to the nerfing of the Pens. Be forewarned - if the Pen isn't nerfed already, this is your last league to enjoy it in its current state, with or without Zerphi's Last Hax). I suppose the takeaway is that Cool Attack + Cool Spell, bolted together via Cast on Crit, is rarely better than Cool Attack by itself or Cool Spell by itself. You have to figure out why using the two of them at the same time does something that either one by itself doesn't accomplish, or your Cast on Crit weirdbuild will come apart. She/Her

frost-blades CoC Ice-Spear. counting on that the ice-spear arming range is smaller than frost blades weapon range.

My only CoC build idea was dual Obliteration Barrage-CoC-EK. I just started leveling it when CoC first got nerfed. I don't think a 0.15s CD will be enough to resurrect it, it kinda relied on EK going off a zillion times when firing into a pack.
