Open VPN (Private Tunnel) for downloading patch

Yeah no luck for me. Im at ridiculously low speeds, even hitting 0 like others have said. My ISP has been crap lately but I don't think it's only that. I don't know, it's 1:03AM here so I'm going to just give it a rest. Maybe I'll get it done by tomorrow late-night. I won't leave my PC running while at work all day, just scares me for some reason.

I just came by to update my post from earlier on in the thread, and I really have to thank the OP. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. GGG should really give you something for your helping of a massive amount of players and to take stress off of some servers and distribute it more evenly. I had to make 3 accounts, all different emails, and was able to reach 98%. I've now just downloaded that last 2% and am so happy I can play tonight. Once again, thank you very much OP.

I just feel bad for OpenVPN, lol.

Yes you can stop and restart the download. It will start at 0% but the amount left to download should be 5% of the total patch.

Turns out i'm stupid and wasn't connected the whole time haha. I'm able to log in and the PrivateTunnel program says I'm connected but the PrivateTunnel website says I am not connected. Any idea how to change this?

Connect to the UK tunnel my speeds went from 5-10K/sec to over 1mb/sec

Don't worry about the website if you are connected on the program you are 100% g2g. Should notice the spd bump immediatly if connected to the UK tunnel.

Oh okay. Just realized other people are using the WiFi I'm using to DL the patch, so that's probably why I was at the 100-200KB/s range. Thank you
