The build has some sexi and tempting numbers. My old ele rapier toon only got to a 5l and 72k dps on flask, but that was both not on a shadow and with armor, aswell as without eldritch. Quite an interesting concept, it's a shame that the AOE DW Sword AoE's are so small and lacking.

first of all, great build, i stumbled in the direction of this with my first build, so the style is really right up my alley!
i must say i heaven´t read every page so i´m dropping this "blind": have you, for maxdps purposes, tried taking Puncture into your build? the 50% extra dmg while the effect lasts are quite nice if i missed anything important, build/ skillwise let me know, i´m still learning the ropes ^^" | |
" Puncture is a physical attack, so it wont give me any more dps than what im using unfortunately. Hope you enjoy it, the RT one is easier to manage and the second one with the high dps on crits is a bit harder to play cause of the possivlity of reflect aura death on crit and smaller mana pool but the dps is much higher, and the survavability is about the same. Hey Vic,
two things: 1. You could also use phase run to further increase the dps, which should get you close to 180k dps. 2. Could you lend me the 6-link and maligaros on legacy for a few minutes so that I can make a comparison between your build and my claw-shadow? I have been hitting roughly 103k dps on dual strike with him, but since claws cant use cleave and I have neither a 6 link nor maligaros its hard to compare the dps possiblities between these characters. No, Phase run gives 50% (at level one) melee damage, which includes elemental damage :).
