Marauder Start Area Feedback

Originally hated that adding Titan Grip to the game idea. "Come on, that'd be totally dumb. Swinging a bostaff with one hand? Bleh." But then I remembered Diablo 2 did it with swords.

"Diablo 2 did it" is more than ample reason to do something where Path of Exile is concerned. We know what kinda criteria's being used behind the scenes. We know the score.

Titan Grip
Can equip two-handed swords and axes in one hand.
-40% less weapon damage
-30% Armour, Evasion and Energy Shield

It will look so silly on the witch though.
This is a reason why class-specific abilities are a thing.


And of course there's Gilgamesh Grip, where you grow extra arms and can equip two two-handed weapons in each finger.

IR should have NEVER allowed conversion of aura-generated Evasion. this is just plain stupid that you can get more armor from one aura than from very good gear
Emm you can maybe do 70% damage on the 2 handers you are using in one hand? Or maybe lose some defences?
OMG, dominus 1 hit me as 3kHP/75% dmg reduction Mara.
Now, people wanna to add lower defense node.
You shouldnt fight dom in merc. There's no reward for it. Also, you woudn't have to take that node.

Either that or they could remove Iron Reflexes entirely and increase the armour values of gear to compensate for the loss of Grace+IR, and possibly at the same time add some kind of mechanic to make evasion characters less one-shottable but I don't know what that would be.
Im not satisfied with "Sword of Renown" node.
The "10% bonus armour" makes a huge gaps between 2h and 1h sword.
2h sword build is lacking defensive stat while 1h sword have block/evasion.

All defensive stats in 1 hand node should move to 2 hand node.

Would have liked to see feedback from any of the big name Marauder racers. Very valuable feedback they could provide.

Now that Purity has been nerfed, I would like so much to see EA return to its former glory as a keystone that works only if you have a two handed weapon equiped (and with an additional drawback if it's not a big enough limitation).

At least it would give a much needed elemental survivability (especially against elemental heavy map bosses) for two hander endgame (who already give up on block, the most efficient omni-defense), and would enforce the Marauder theme.

Other than that, I agree with pretty everything already mentioned previously, pathing need to be easier by allowing crossing between the two main path, and some nodes unified and/or re-evalued.
please add some passive points that give you increased mana / life leech rate!
