I don't think he's a d3 fan. I think he's just a very negative person in general.

There is a world between being a negative person and being critical. He points most videogame reviews are a joke, and the fact he uses a lauding one as an example rather than a critical one divert players from the meaning of his post.
As much as I love this game a 9.5/10 is almost a perfect score, and there is far too many improvments possible to make it a reasonable note if you use any half decent rating scale.

I have the feeling enhance will increase the effectivenes of a buff or debuff.

I don't like the design of these new gems, empower and now enhance. As interesting as their mechanic itself is (at least on empower), I find the idea of making them a gcp sink by giving them a so slow leveling is a distasteful choice. The same result could have been made by giving them a normal quality bonus and making their initial leveling faster as you can't use the vendor recipe with a gem under lvl 20. At the moment once you have maxed them the quality is lost.

The game is unplayable for days, nice launch.

Anyone else get excited and then realize its just a lame gem and some notes hahah

probably going to be a grind gem, one of those gems that increase the rate your gem gains experience, making it much easier to level up those gems to 20. if im right, its useful considering after gem level 16/17 it takes veeeeery long to upgrade a gem.

POE gamers might or might not be ok with desync, dying, and starting over in Nemesis HC, I am not. The Forbes review is balanced and fair in my opinion as it speak towards the good points and the shortcomings of the game. ARPG wise their is no other game I would play at the moment, but that does not mean that I would keep on playing the game for the next year or two either (playing since closed beta). The POE success story is something that cannot be ignored and it deserves all the credit for all it has achieved. However I personally see serious challenges to sustain success from release going forward.

Will have to wait, try out, and see in terms of the new support gems.

I wasn't able to participate in the league beyond season 1, will be wating for this new season.
