Kripparrian's wand Templar?

I am sorry if I ask something obvious, but I did not find. I am a newby and I am only level 4. What are the skill/gem that I need to find and use ?

From the moment, I have only found spark or fireball for the moment. Please give me some advice :)

EDIT: I saw that krip advices to start with melee build. But I am not familiar with how to respect, it seems from what I have understood that it is throught "respec orb". So in that case do you use the build "wand" on this thread or another ?

I need to specify that I really don't like melee anition , so I would prefer to stick on wand

With this build you will be using a 2h for a while and then at some to be determined point (maybe level 35-40?), you can use some orbs of regret to pull off the melee component. But at any rate, you will be melee for a long time before you go full wands with this build of his. If you are new you should stick to the default league (not HC) with this build as you will die a lot probably.

I am 30 now, still melee, do i get Power Siphon as Quest reward?

If you are playing softcore just follow his build and use whatever weapons / items you want it won't make much of a difference you can still clear normal difficulty very easily.

It will also save you the bother of having to respec points later on. I'm currently running my own SC version of this and I have been using a lightning strike melee build (currently level 30) but I'm using the wand passives. It's fine and it doesn't slow you down much!

But if you play with wand, what are you using as skill ? I mean as I said, for the moment I only had fireball and fire trap, and I am playing with this setup. But what should I looking for as skill (gem if you prefer), always in the optic of using wand ?

Early levels just use your skills that are available. Your wand damage will be very low and not much use! A good melee weapon and lightning strike works great and then pick up elemental weapon when you get it and use that with lightning strike. Or you could use a wand with elemental weapon and use wrath and anger auras which would give you good damage from your wand!
