I got a forum probation for suggesting this recipe was a product of "sitting on the can".

effectiveness of it can be judged by simple fact that chisels went UP in price..

Really ? You want me to carry hammers in my bags from high end mapping where chisels are needed so I can apply whetstones to them and then get a low lvl map that probly sells for a few alts (if sold in bulk map bundles) so I can get 1 chisel??

More useful to vendor a mirror for the exalted recipe.

Something like 2 maps vendored gives 1 chisel might be something worth the time for people who actually you know, USE chisels..

Why not lvl 50-60 item? So I could get some additional exp/currency while farming it?

My thinking is this recipe was created to give more incentive to racing. When your not mapping and farming you can have some fun racing and find things to help you.
