These, imho, are slang words which no one takes seriously in context but they (GGG) are probably afraid of being sued or causing unwanted controversy. The OP's argument is that, because he said a thing was "retarded" it is not the same as calling someone who doesn't see the point he is making "a retard". Unfortunately, I don't think that a forum without any moderation would be viable. A forum full of unfettered venting would inhibit players from acquiring any help or information that they were looking for on the forum as well as make it difficult for players to have practical discussions about the game and feedback they may have.
