How many quality gems have you found that you could sell or vendor for more GCP? It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing. They can cause players to get out of their depth - playing maps that are too hard for the items they currently have. Herp Derp. Even at 20% quality the exp needed for empower is still unacceptable. Thats half of 1 billion 600 million, or 800 mil, or roughly 2.5 times the exp of a normal lvl 20 gem. It takes the average player up to lvl 85-86 to max out a normal lvl 20 gem, so you are expected to use the max level gem at lvl 90+??? If you are in the 90s, you will already have a working build and pretty much at dead end of poe. Gems should be build enablers not finish everything in the game so you can use trophies. Funny thing is none of the cookie cutter BoR builds need empower, but casters on the other hand....its like beating a dead horse. This is completely ridiculous when level 2 of these gems are supposed to be usable by level 10 characters and level 3 of these gems are supposed to be usable by level 45 characters. In their current state these gems are not much fun. the xp you gain 1-65 is nothing.... even 79-80 compared to 85+ get to be a huge difference.
