That made no sense unless I view it as you venting frustration. These are endgame items.

The only way I see p2w even coming into the equation is if you go buy gcps from some site. Even then, gcps are common enough there really is no need to do that.

looking at it logically speaking, people will pay 20-25c for a lvl 20 gem.

therefore, the accepted trade value of 300m or so gem xp is say 20c

if 20 gcp = 40 c

and you save 800m gem xp by using 20x gcps on it

Seriously? You think me equipping the Empower gem on whatever character I'm playing, to ensure the gem gains XP whenever I'm logged in, no matter what it is that I'm doing, is doing it wrong?

If I'm mapping on high level characters, Empower is gaining XP. If I'm MF'ing on high level characters, Empower is gaining XP. If I roll a new character and level up, Empower is gaining XP. If I switch to an alt and level up, Empower is gaining XP.

I'm not doing it wrong. The XP required to level and be able to use these gems is ridiculous. I'm doing everything I can to level Empower while attempting to remain sane and have some fun. No way in hell I'm going to run maps ad nauseam on my highest level character at the exclusion of everything else just to maybe make a gem usable within a month of grinding. That would make me insane.
