GRIM DAWN Act 2.x here... hmm. waiting time to 1.1 PoE? :)
I love Grim Dawn and POE.
I love Grim Dawn for its skill system, offline play and mod support (Almost any game that has modding is a +1 from me) I love POE for its secure online system, easy party play, and the trade and bartering with other people. |

" Problem is, many treat it that way, so you get all those pesky flame wars which I find it idiotic. I play PoE because there is plenty of diversity, and to some extent, I got the carrot bait in front of my face from time to time. When RNG is being a pain and stresses me out, or I just need a break from PoE, I switch back to Grim Dawn and play a couple of weeks. I do not have to worry about RMT, desync, derp economy, or anything nonsensical that online games tend to bring in. Of course, Grim Dawn is still not done. They still need the implement the crafting system (blacksmith / recipe crafting), a REAL crafting system, not pure gambling. Arcanist class is still being developed, dual wielding of pistols, and integrating act 3 to the game. Arthur stated that act 2 is still not done since they (dev team) want to lay in more content for act 2. When the game finally gets the "full release" tag, it will be a much bigger and more complex game, but not that complex compare to PoE. Of course, there is still the expansions that Crate later on will make after they finished polishing the game, and since I bought the loyalist edition, I get the first expansion for free (technically, I already bought it in a sense with the pricing being at 85 USD back then). Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game. - raics, 06.08.2016 Последняя редакция: JohnNamikaze#6516. Время: 26 февр. 2014 г., 12:44:34

Great, we went from D3 vs POE to POE vs Grim Dawn? Just play all the games alternately. Why the preference or comparison anyways? Games tend to appeal to different audiences anyways.
D3 for the kids and people who want it easier and POE for people who love RNG and Lots of different Chars and Builds. Grim Dawn will fill just another niche. |

" I played D2 offline, at LAN parties, or direct connect over the internet for a decade. no trading except among the couple other people i played with, no economy, no bots, no pvp. Still played it for 10 years with no horrible desync issues. Will play PoE the exact same way, except for the no horrible desync issues but its a cross we must all bear to enjoy this awesome game. |

its shaping up to be a really good game. For anyone who ever gets that solo, self found, back to the roots craving for just some good honest arpging the game will have a lot to offer. Better than just rehacking through PoE or D3 yet again, get away from them completely, youll enjoy them more for it when you get back.
I get that feeling sometimes and I load up D2, and god bless it, loved it at the time but its so clumsy now. Load up Neverwinter Nights, its still shit, Titan Quest, less clumsy but still a bit clumsy and slow, Dragon Age, its more shit than you remember even though it was recent... This is what you need in those moments, its 20 quid, it feels great to play, its got a good item hunt, you can make different builds, its got 100% less lego than Torchlight 2. Early days but its obviously going to be a serious game when its done. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :) Последняя редакция: Snorkle_uk#0761. Время: 27 февр. 2014 г., 00:00:52
