It says, quite clearly, that party members will become hostile in the text. Read the text next time. I find it quite fun, some of us choosing different sides should obviously cause some...issues.

Whoever did this is awesome.
The first time I played a bandit quest and saw the warning "You must kill anyone that chooses differently from you", that was the moment I realized how unique and amazing this game and these devs are. It's truly a beautiful mechanic, working as intended (if you didn't figure that out by the warning which tells you it's intended). Have other people cast their votes first, or open a TP ahead of time, or simply don't party with someone who's capable of destroying the rest of the party by themselves. " This x1000000. Im pretty sure that if you are familiar with HC in and ARPG (namely D2) you would know that grouping with people you don't know, particularly people much stronger than you, is a very poor decision. People are out to kill you in HC, they do not want to help you. |

To be fair, people's complaints are about not being ABLE to read the text because it was probably their first time being given this choice, and that they are being killed before they are even given a choice. The most I could suggest is giving out a timer or ticker mark by everyone's name about who has already decided their vote to give people more time to look at it, without necessarily giving away their intentions.
