disconnected from patching server before patching completed

This problem is so frustrating. Sometimes patches go without problems but atleast 1/2 times first Steam just wont complete patch at all. Then when i delete Steam install and download standalone, it never finishes download before "disconnected from patching server before patching completed"-error. After restart it wont even start downloading before giving that error message. Ive tried all solutions on this thread. Its like i need to uninstall and install game on steam almost everytime when theres just tiny little patch.

I have same problem on Steam.
EDIT: what "fixed it" is me going to steam folder, launching client.exe with admin rights and getting an update like that, then just launching it without steam. You need to input your id and pass, and it works normaly. Последняя редакция: ShoveMoneyDeeper#4932. Время: 28 мар. 2020 г., 10:22:40

Thanks everyone in the comments, I also fixed this by:
• Disabling my firewall • Starting 'client.exe' in the installation folder with administrative rights. On my computer that's located in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile • Disabling remote desktop access I use for work Happy planting trees and growing undead fruit league everyone |

TEMPORARY SOLUTION: Guys since Support wont help you there is a way to make it work.

Making an exception in Avast (antivirus) for the whole ggg folder solved this for me.

For the current patch I was having the same problem, even uninstalled the whole game and tried to download again but I kept disconnecting.
My solution was disable all firewalls completely and running the executable file as admin. Hope it helps. |

Funny thing, I had this issue today, apparently after reinstalling Windows my date&clock weren't set correctly.
After setting proper time it started working. (Network certificates are wonky mah dudes) |
