the solution in most cases is to run the client in windows 8 compatibility mode
+ ADM. |

I had this program called cfos speed to shape and monitor my traffic installed on windows 7
removing it worked for me |

Was playing fine 1 hr ago, new patch dropped 40 min ago and now I am getting this error when I try to open the game.
