Can anyone suggest me an ascendancy class for a high-gear ranger? I want to try something new and dont know what should i pick : deadeye or pathfinder?

and why blast rain dps < TS dps? i thought single target damage > TS damage (am I right? :P), should I change any gems?

New(ish) player here, how do I get gear to level with? I don't really have much currency to buy anything, and all I have right now is this junk I've got while leveling:

Gear is outdated for Daresso. keep chancing basic bows or just buy cheap unique bow, they are pretty cheap these days. Also try crafting harbinger yourself-instruction is somewhere in the guide.

And try to get some more life. you habe only a few +life modes on your items. So you die realy fast

That makes perfect sense.
You very rarely stand firm and fire lots of shots, you often have to reposition (both defensively to avoid attacks or offensively to optimize the targets in your arrow fan), that makes the bow with the higher damage per shot better. You really move A LOT as archer. Also you spend less mana this way and have a higher chance to stun.

Lionseye is special because "hits can't be evaded" is invisible dps.
