[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

Some more info and gearcheck will be appreciated for a total nub like me. I went for the first build the tornado shot wihtout secondary, atleast for know till i find good 6L chest or kaom. I am total beginner and i love this game. I would like to know how can i optimise my builds to level faster with this current gear.

I have the famous helm
I got these sweet gloves
I guess this belt is not so bad
I got the boots i have 4L version too
The chest
The rings and the jewels are np i understood what to look life and res to cap my res.

i got these 2 quivers

Now the drama for me is that i don't know which quiver is better for the 5L Tornado and what combination of gems should i use, can i use the drillneck and do i need pierce. what do i need for the setup and what do i need for the signal fire setup if its better dps.

My second biggest drama is i do not know how to setup my gems. The only thing i figured out so far is.

I like [CWDT+IC+ID] but what to put in the 4th slot of this combo [CWDT+IC+ID+what]?

My aura in the gloves slot [Hrald of Ice + Ice bite support + Curse on Hit + Assassin's mark] and i have hatred on a separate slot. Do i really need Curse on hit and Assassins's mark ?
Otherwise in the helm i use Ice Golem + blink arrow + faster attacks + bloodrage.


What would u do at my place?
Which quiver and how to setup the gems.

I guess this is the best place to ask so I will give it a shot:

I have started this league with one of the usual budget builds and made some currency so far. Now I would like to reinvest into a bow build and am having a hard time deciding on the class.

A few infos beforehand:
-the plan is to go full ele conversion
-I can invest a few ex into the build, so budget is not really needed
-I'd like to avoid running bloodrage and get my frenzy charges by other means
-I know pathfinder tends to win in the very endgame setup but i dont plan to start as one
-I'm most likely running Herald of Ice + Curse on Hit + Ass Mark + Icebite (power, frenzy and shatter)

Here comes the 2 options I have come up with so far but feel free to soggest anything else:

1) Ranger -> Raider
Way of the Poacher - Avatar of Slaughter (thats a must have basicly)
Which 2 other ascendancy nodes do I pick, most guides seem to suggest Quartz Infusion and Avatar of Veil but I dont see why you wouldn't go for Rapid Assault and Avatar of Chase?

The advantage of Raider is obviously the free Frenzy Charges on mobs and bosses

I am kinda worried about the elemental scaling tho aswell as getting instagibbed by reflect

2) Scion -> Elementalist/Raider or Deadeye
Elementalist lets you ignore reflect basicly aswell as getting 6% pen + conflux
Raider gets you (low) frenzy on bosses (unsure if 10% chance is actually enought to keep frenzy up cause I dont a high lvl bow char)
Deadeye gets you free pierce and an additional arrow, but I'll have to ditch boss frenzy completely

In this setup, I'm afraid I wont be able to keep frenzy up at all on bosses.

tldr;
I wanna do a bow currency sink that goes for 100% ele conversion, which ascendancy should I go for:
Ranger -> Raider
Scion -> Elementalist/something

Hey, I'm newer to the game and not sure what gems I should use in alpha howl with queens besides grace. Any advice is welcomed. Thank you for your time.

I'm feeling a bit stuck on t11+ progression, also i can´t do atziri because i'm too squishy. Where would logically be the next item i should upgrade? I'm thinking about getting rid of Doryani's, but i'm not sure. Can anyone help me figure that out?

@mrsapient. The statement means what it says. Tornado shot is single and aoe target viable. Kaoms heart is chest armour where no sockets available but in exchange it has +500 max life and +1000 max life for relic version.

@narcotic.
1. Someone said run when u need to run and blink when u need to blink. This is very important playstyle for most ranger build who are not made to be very tanky.
2. One of your ring can add life. Gloves i will go for unique maligaros for dps and boots rare for max hp and resist (i feel that should be a good switch of rare and unique)
3. Quiver. Go for signal fire (i will only go for rare if it doesnt much reduce my dps compare to signal fire and max roll of life or at least closer)
4. You dont have cast when damage taken set up. Immortal call even for .45 sec is very important.
5. Very important whats your dps and hp hahahha. I dont know your actual problem? Do u die a lot but dmg is good? Maybe you invest to much on dmg nodes but overlooked hp nodes (its crucial to know when to fill dmg and hp at the right time)
6. Go and try those 4 points first it may change your destiny

I still die here and there, but the biggest upgrades I have made recently have been in direct response to recent comments here. I'm glad I read beyond the first comment.

Thanks for the tips, i'll take them to heart. As for what you asked of me:
I swapped the boots for and i'll get maligaros ASAP. Also i'll look for signal fire to complete the build.

As for Hp, i have only 4.5k HP (with +156% HP) atm, so i definitely need more here. DPS is 26k on Tornado and 70k on Barrage according to Path of Building. (in-game tooltip with no buffs shows 15k tornado). Where should i go from here?

My problem is mostly that i feel slower than some builds (which i'll fix with your good tips) and that i have to do bosses perfectly or i die from 1 hit. What should i do to get a lil bit beefier? Maybe remove doryanis and get a rare belt with +HP? (since with my new boots i'm overcapping 155%/83%/100%)

@erichthered. Normally its grace and hatred. Try it if your 8% mana is enough if not then herad of ice.

@brutaldwluxe. Grats on you 6L opus i tried 3 times maling 6L but i guess rng was only happy to give me 5L lol. By the way with your new upgrades dont you think maybe its the playstyle that kills you? Do you run or blink when its needed for a ranger with hp lower than 6k.

@narcotic. Thanks for the above compliment. Your fast in upgrading lol. If im not wrong i mentioned the best to change for a rare belt with max hp you can also get physical and elemental damage all in one with 3 resistance but will cost alot. Im 88 but you dmg more than mine meaning maybe you need to start getting more life nodes and leech nodes like vitality void. If not enough get lightning coil lie i did 30-40% physical to lightning dmage is a huge buff also try cwdt+phase run (i always use this being invisible is secondary to immortal calls invulnerability), also keep 1 gem socket for infeeble (sometimes are dmg is enough for boss fight but the damage they deal is to much for use so by reducing there damage by 30% gave us like 30% increase hp and resistance in a way. Lastly knowning when to run and blink (this is zero investment aside from 1 socket and blink arrow gem)

The leveling skilltree (3rd picture down here https://imgur.com/a/eGFuu) says we're supposed to refund a point that seems impossible to refund. No matter how many times i try, i can't refund that point. Any reason why?

Also the guide seems to have two different recommendations for the Ice Herald setup. Currently i am using Ice Herald+Curse on hit+Ice Bite+Assassins Mark. Is this the correct setup?
