1) Lion's Eye Glare 4-link + Signal Fire > 5-link bow. (7346 vs 7331 dps) You will have to make up resists somewhere.
2) Gems should be TS + GMP + PtL* + Ele Damage w/ Attacks + Added Cold for 5 link. (Current: 5955 dps vs 7331 dps) *Added Lightning is stronger for now. I think PtL outpaces it later on though.
3) This will give you better dps per point than the other setup.
4) Depending on how you feel your leech is, you could look into picking up Vitality void + the Life and Mana Leech node.
5) It's also perfectly fine to start heading to Warrior as long as your damage feels up to par for the content.

You kind of have to run with one mana flask until you get good enough damage to out leech it.
I would just drop HoI for now.

I feel my damage is fine, especially against mobs (for comparison, act 10 final fight took a while though). But shall soon upgrade I guess. And I'll definitely look into that gem setup.

I'm also doing okay on the mana front actually, with the 2 nodes from Essence Sap cluster (didn't need to pick up Sap itself).

Life leech is probably average atm, but the main question on my mind is: when do I get Vaal Pact, if at all? Is it a must going forward (I guess in reflect maps)?

Don't have a set answer for you. I found that until I got my damage high enough, I was better off with leech + life regen. I would say once you get the bow and quiver you should be good. I forgot to mention that the dps I listed was based off the Blackgleam quiver and not Signal Shot. Signal shot should give you a good increase since it adds 35% phys as extra fire damage.

nah 300dps wont beat lioneyes. i have 410PDPS+75EDPS= 485DPS bow still lioneyes win. so i kept in stash lol.
