2.3 Fakener (budget fake Mjölner) build - Trickster Version

For those interested, I have just transitioned into CoC Cyclone at 51.

Gear:



Chance to hit: 85%
Crit chance before charges: 29.8

Grace + 2 Heralds atm.
No Elreon jewelery - I haven't seen him once! FML.

Pretty much using flasks to sustain the spinning, but the clear speed is good, if unreliable. I was pretty much dying to transition, bored shitless.

I leveled with Flame totem and Magma orb.

Dominus in a few minutes, which I'm sure will suck with such low crit chance, but whirling through packs probably makes up for that.

Edit: I am also going to run a CWDT - lvl 1 Ice Nova - Max CoH - Max Ass Mark too. When links are easier to come by.

Can someone help me? My results so far have been, uh, kinda shitty. I feel like I'm doing something really wrong somewhere, because it just doesn't seem to add up.

Also, remove adders touch and the blood drinker cluster.

Mathil goes for adders touch cluster, but I don't. I also go for acro/phase acro where he doesn't.

Pick up a Vagan dagger. They are brilliant. Say you have 85% chance to hit - You get your hit, then you get your crit on, let's say, 50% chance to crit. You then have to roll accuracy again to verify crit. So that's really 42.5 chance to crit, on top of the only 85% chance to hit in the first place. Vagan removes this. You will flat out crit 50% of the time. Also don't need accuracy on gear, which is a godsend.

Don't use Invitation. Use LL in chest.

Your CWDT gems are very very high level and wont proc often. I would rather my endurance charges go to IC than my discharges.

But it shouldn't feel too bad. I think it's just an accuracy/no vagan dagger thing.

Your only problem is accuracy rating. U should try replacing maligaro by rare glove with hp, res, accuracy and as if possible. Use diamond ring with accuracy rating ( 200-250+), hp, res if possible. The other way is trying a vagan dagger. Good luck!

I'm not chroming my chest untill I get to lvl 80 or so, because GGGBBR was a pain to get. (And I'm using it on another CoC guy)
I should've stated my problems, which are, being as frail as a small, gentle bird (Not even 3k life, and almost out of HP nodes to get.), and proccing being really incosistent against single targets. I can't do dominus without dying several times, and most times I die, its because there is only one boss on the screen and I can't get enough procs. Against single targets, this build feels like it is doing maybe 20, 30k DPS at best. Also, I'm really trying to find a 1.6 APS Vagan dagger (Since I dont feel like crafting multi mods on a dagger only to substitute it later), but they are hard to come by.

I have a question for those that do not have Volls Devotion.

How good would it be to sneak into the staff portion and get

So you have a 10% chance to gain a ENDURANCE CHARGE on critical strike. This is NOT fitted for staves but any melee weapon.

I would assume we would be building charges at an amazing rate, not as good as a volls devotion but still enough to double your dps with the endurance charges if you havent gotten them before?

You would waste 4 points to get this but it is NOt out of your way if you went into the templar tree.

What do you guys think and has anyone tested this.

PS: I will do this tonight on my standard character and let you know how fast I build charges.

Is Volls Dev mandatory for this build and if yes , how much does it benefit from using it ? I dont want to spend too much currency as i like the ideo of budget fakener builds (i played the death harps budget windripper version from mathils before and it was simply awesome)

This is why Smashing_Strikes may be a good idea, if you get the charges easy and fast through there... you will in essence have a MUCH better setup than volls devotion and save huge amounts of EX.

IT also means that you can get Accuracy, Global Crit and Global Multiplier on a good neck with more HP. It could be win win.

Just depends on how fast you build up charges but I havent found anyone who has done this.

I will do it tonight with my respec of my high levels toons. I have all items required so watch this space.
