WHY CAN'T I JOIN CHAT CHANNEL?!

Can someone from GGG fix this please? I have only one character who can't join chat channel 820 for masters, and it's my main character Cinder_Beast in Beyond league.
All my other characters can join any global channel they like, but the game will now allow this character to join - that is a bizarre glitch? it happened after a DC in the middle of an elreon instance where we all DC'd Any help? Thanks much! |

This just happened to me also. I can't join global 820 on this account. I can join it on another one just fine though. I was in a dry peninsula map and I had just found elreon and was proceeding to clear the map before spamming 820 to share and the game crashed. I reloaded the client and can't join global 820, but any other chat I can join just fine.

Reporting in too, I've had it happened 3 times already. For me, it's always during Elreon daily, and IIRC all three times were feed mission. I know the channel block is only temporary, but this is getting old.

Hi there,
If you're able to join other channels, and if the restriction goes away from time to time then that suggests global 820 is just full rather than there being a tech issue here. Are there any cases where this isn't true and you can't join channels at all? Gameplay & Level Design

I'm fairly positive that 820 isn't full. I asked other people to join 820 and they could. I also pmed other members from the crashed party, those that I did pmed said that they can't join 820 either.

this just happend to me, i cant join /global 820 anymore after i got Disconnected, i tried a bunch of other channels and they all work fine. i restarted the game and still nothing. Then i restarted my PC and still nothing. As for it being full, a couple people on my friends list joined without problems.

Same just happened to me, I DCed while trying to invite someone and now I cannot access 820 anymore.
GGG has forced us to use 820 with this unbelievable master grind and now I cannot even join the channel. IGN - Sparky_RAMPAGE

" "forced"? You're not "forced" to do anything. I didn't even KNOW 820 existed until a few days ago. You know how I "grind" masters? One at a time daily. That was the point all along. While 820 seems to exist to make those dailies easier because you can do multiples, I don't for one second believe that GGG required that, or even intended it from the beginning. So you're not "forced" to do anything. Please don't make incorrect statements unless you know for a fact that GGG intended people to use 820 to rank up their masters. As for your actual problem, you'll likely just have to keep trying. Could be an issue in their game code, or could just be that the channel was full every time you tried to join (and your friends happened to get lucky and get into the channel at the right time when someone was leaving). I tend to think it was probably full, but there's really no way for us to know that. Good luck. |
